Transform the sunday scaries and morning anxieties

Just yesterday I woke up with dread, feeling stressed about all the things – messages I had to send, emails I had to write and things I had to do before I even had breakfast or a moment to myself.

Many times I get caught in this urgency and start doing, hoping that will make me feel better.

Often, it doesn’t, because there’s literally *always* more I could do and this momentum of scarcity and urgency isn’t ever satisfied by what it *thinks* it wants.

Instead, I sat down and did my sit spot meditation in the backyard.

In between the thoughts of not enough and more to do and what about this idea I was able to find the Alyssa that feels peace and bliss and ease and remind the Alyssa that gets carried away in overdoing that she deserves to feel this way — relaxed and settled and trusting and good.

And that everything flows more easily from here ✨
